WORKSHOPS

As well as giving one- to-one accordion tuition, Martina also runs instrumental and singing workshops.

Instrumentalists: (beginners / intermediate) will have the chance to play in a friendly and supportive atmosphere learning tunes by ear or from simple notation.

Mixed instruments or accordion only / Folk/ Eastern European/ Klezmer/ French

Singing workshops: Being an associated member of NVPN, Martina believes that singing is our birthright. In a playful way Martina will facilitate the singing of funky rounds, juicy harmonies and feet tapping rhythms from around the world. All songs will be taught by ear. (see Coming Events)

Martina has taught at Morley College, Cecil Sharp House and in many schools as well as leading bands and singing groups in theatre and community projects.

Martina can lead sessions on her own or together with fellow musicians.

Come along and learn some funky rounds, some juicy harmonies and some feet tapping rhythms from around the world. Expect an evening of playful singing, fantastic songs and beautiful harmonies. You’ll leave uplifted and relaxed.
All songs will be taught by ear and some will be accompanied by the accordion to get things really going. All levels welcome.

Martina Schwarz is passionate about music and believes that singing is our birthright. She is a musician, singer/songwriter, performer and music creator for theatre, film and dance, for community and health settings. She has many years of experience and is an associated member of NVPN.

No experience necessary. Come on your own - come with friends.
